We all have grown up seeing the obsession of celebrating February with all those red hearts, flowers and candle light dinners. But I was always the one who thought February is just too overrated for celebrating love. Even if I ever had a plan of wearing a red outfit around 14th of this month I used to change my mind without giving it a second thought.
I love how this colors gives a lot of strength to the outfit. Red is one of the color that needs quite less effort to make an amazing OOTD.
If you are going to celebrate Valentine’s Day or not (your choice) there’s no denying that Valentine’s Day is the perfect excuse to put on a cute outfit and hit the town. Whether you are going out with someone or just hanging out with friends following 5 styles will help you steal the moment.
- So not Red
If you want to go all-out girly girl wear a chic dress of any cool color and accessorize it with something red and a little bit of bright Makeup. I bought this Blue dress from Mango. I wore it with a plaid Jacket from Breakout with black tights and black boots.
I got this cute red Hand bag as my Nikkah gift from my very dear friend, that I am obsessed with these days. My lipstick is from Maybelline and this Shade is 916 Neon Red
I tried to keep this look simple with a pop of color to go with the theme of Red 🙂
2. Lady like Black:
If you do not want a lot of red and still the day seems incomplete without it then embrace some leopard print in red around your neck.
Keep your makeup quite subtle, bring some beach waves and wear your perfect and the most comfortable black outfit.
3. A big winter Knit:
Going full on red is an obvious choice for Valentine ’s Day. My mother knitted me this sweater/Jumper. The design and color is fascinating. She never went to any knitting schools or training center but she is a Pro at it.
I paired this mama’s love with black underneath, tights form PINK and my same black boots. Do hit the like button to admire the love and hard work of my mother that she has put in to create this masterpiece. 🙂
4. Whimsical Lace:
Have a little fun with the day’s theme and go with a novelty shirt. This is quite an old shirt of mine but it looks fresh and new every time I wear it. It’s a neon sort of red that I paired up with bleached denim wide leg pants. I loved this casual chic outfit combination 🙂
I am wearing this outfit with my red sued pumps with brown bow on it. I highlighted red at the bottom as I did not make it all fancy looking dress. I kept it simple and chic.
5. Add on:
Whatever you are wearing always keep few alternatives with it. If you are going with friends in the afternoon and you have another commitment in the evening, then you should follow this rule.
For example if you are wearing this red shirt with wide leg pants in the afternoon and you have uploaded several pictures on your instagram then your evening can’t be the same 😀
Just change the look of your outfit by wearing a jacket or taking a printed scarf, these minimal changes can revamp the look for another time of the day 🙂
